The Following Is A List Of Committees For 2007-2008 With An
Explanation Of The Function Of Each Committee And An E-Mail Link To The
Committee Chairpersons.
- Players of the Month
- To recognize outstanding performance by individual players over a
one-month period. The players will be presented with a gift
certificate. The committee will be responsible for the selection process,
the gift to be presented, and the presentation of the awards.

- Apartment Needs
- To provide players with supplies and small appliances that they require to
start up their new accommodations. The committee will be responsible
to work with the Jack's front office in preparing the apartments. A
large existing inventory of supplies and appliances already exist.
Annually new purchases must be made. Most responsibilities of this
committee will be completed prior to the start of the season and after the
season ends

- Booster Club Meetings, Dinners, & Games
- To facilitate a monthly event for Jack-Pack members and Jacks Players
and families to interact over a meal including a short program of some
kind. The committee will plan the dinners including the location, date, menu,
and program. As well, they will communicate this information to the
newsletter committee.

- General Fundraising & Game Night Table
- To raise money through a variety of projects to support Jack-Pack
activities and responsibilities. The committee will plan and operate
fundraising activities throughout the season. Make sure that the
Jack-Pack table is staffed with a Jack-Pack member before and during each
intermission at all home games.

- Carrot Crew
- To coordinate Jack-Pack youth members in picking up carrots off of the
ice at all home games after each Jackalope's goal. To solicit
adult Jack-Pack members to watch the carrot crew during each game.
To organize an end-of-season party for carrot crew members who meet
certain criteria during the season.

- Post-Game Meals
- To provide post-game meals to visiting teams whose booster clubs
reciprocate for the Jacks. The committee will contact other teams as
to this exchange of hospitality. Resulting from this information,
will be the facilitation of the meals.

- Membership & Website
- To solicit new membership using all methods available to the
Jack-Pack. To communicate regularly with Jack-Pack members and the
Jacks front office through a Jack-Pack website (www.jackpack.org) and e-mail.

- The Munchers
- To provide the players with healthy nutritious snacks on lengthy road
trips. The committee is responsible for gathering and delivering the
snacks.

- Photography
- To take photos of
players in and out of action to be sold as photos, buttons, and photo
pucks from the Jack-Pack table at home
games.
